There are six kalimas (words) in Islam, which are considered to be the fundamental beliefs of the faith. These kalimas are:
- Kalima Tayyab: "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah)
- Kalima Shahada: "Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah)
- Kalima Tamjeed: "SubhanAllah" (Glory be to Allah)
- Kalima Tawheed: "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah)
- Kalima Astaghfar: "Astaghfirullah" (I seek forgiveness from Allah)
- Kalima Radd-E-Kufar: "Rabbanaghfirli" (My Lord, forgive me)
